Where Does Black Rhinoceros Live?

The East African Black Rhino (Diceros bicornis michaeli) is a subspecies of the critically endangered black rhinoceros. These magnificent creatures prefer to inhabit highland forest and savanna regions, where they have adapted well over centuries.

In terms of their geographic distribution, black rhinos are found throughout southern and eastern Africa. Countries such as Kenya, Tanzania, Namibia, South Africa, and Zimbabwe provide suitable habitats for these incredible animals.
